Demo policy: we are pleased to receive examples of your music for potential release. We only release albums, not EPs, and we do not re-release material that has already been made available elsewhere. If you would like to send us some of your music, please use the contact form below, and include a link to a private stream of your material. Please do not send any downloads. We will try our best to listen to everything that we receive, and to respond to everyone who sends us something, but please note that we can’t guarantee that we will be able to send you a reply.
FAQ for prospective artistes:
What about copyright? Copyright will remain with you, as producer of the music.
Will it be mastered? We can master the music for you; we won’t charge for this. However you would be welcome to master your music yourself if you prefer.
What income will I receive? We will forward to you all of the sales income that we receive, once Bandcamp have deducted their fees.
Will my release appear on my own Bandcamp site? Yes, this can be arranged. If you don’t already have a Bandcamp site, we can create one for you.
Who will own the recording? You will own all rights to the recordings you have made; the label will own not anything connected with your work.
Will I receive any cassettes? We would be happy to send you as many cassettes as you like. Our main cost is postage so we may wish to recover postage costs from your sales income, if you require a large number of cassettes.
What about the album artwork? We will produce all album artwork using hand-made prints, which will be undertaken in discussion with you to ensure that you are happy with the results.
Will the label publicise my release? Yes, we will send out a press release and promote it on social media. We would appreciate your help in spreading the word.
